Eulogy for Sindisiwe Angelina Udoka (Nee Xulu)

Read by Mr Osadebe Ibegwu at her funeral held at St Pauls, Durban, on 13 September 2021

I have been given the privilege to read the eulogy of our daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Mrs. Sindisiwe Angelina Udoka.

She was a star that passed through our world, our community and brightened the corner of our sphere.

We are here to celebrate the life of our own who went to glory on Wednesday 8th

September 2021.

Sindisiwe was born to the family of the Mrs Julia Ngidi on 6th September 1968 at

Umbumbulu.

She however grew up at Umlazi under the tutelage of her father Rev. Samuel Bulawayo

Xulu.

In 1997, she met her Husband, Mr Gerald Chibuzor Udoka and by 1999 they were married

and are blessed with four children.

She worked at various companies and later joined her husband in his business. She later

started her own business

Sindi as she was popularly called was a hardworking, dedicated, humble and disciplined woman. One striking thing about her was the ever-constant cheerfulness.

She had a deep-rooted love for the Lord and her family.

I will close with a quote from an unknown author, which says that “those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear”.
