Hamba Kahle Revd. Andrew and Mama Alison

Today on this celebration of the feast of Christ the King 👑 was beyond just the farewell and celebration of our time spent together with the Warmback family; but a bitter sweet moment of recollection of more than 6+ years of worship and fellowship, prayer and lament, love and dislikes, cries and laughter, loss and gains, appreciations and complaints, learning and unlearning and many more
During his time at St Paul’s Revd. Andrew has seen children baptised, teenagers and adults confirmed, ministries introduced; strengthening of some, activeness of most, curacy of Deacons, working hand-in-hand with different assistant Priests and retired Clergy, funerals and weddings, visit to the sick both home and hospitals, welcoming of new members into faith, visits from different Clergy and Bishops preaching as invited by different guilds/ministries, hosting of different archdeaconry guilds events particularly Mother’s Union, AWF, Men’s guild (CMS), Server’s and Youth
Worked through a global pandemic; covid-19 that took us all by surprise. The church through his leadership and prayers had to quickly adapt and introduce innovative ways of worship especially the online presence through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Whatsapp engagements
Revd. Andrew and mama Alison have been part of our family of St Paul’s serving with warm hearts and humility. We will forever be greatful to God for crossing paths, learning and praying together all these years.
We continue to uphold them in prayer as they continue their ministry to the people of God in Mhlanga and the archdeaconry of Ethekwini North 😊
