Holy Week 2021 Durban – Call to Worship

Dear People of St Paul’s Each day this week churches in Durban are offering inputs to share with us on the theme of suffering.

LEANs and Churches across Durban have been working together in an incredible initiative coordinated by the Denis Hurley Centre in the lead up to Easter this week. Over 25 Churches are coming together to prepare material for each day of the week.

Each cluster will prepare four kinds of material: Worship (as we gather together), Witness (to learn about some experience of suffering), Reflections (Scripture and meditation) and Encouragement (preaching to help us to move forwards as a community).

Today’s four sharings are from the churches in the CBD. The link to the videos on YouTube is https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkwktmU96AGSbQVrJymhz17XQU_PYHOYU

It is Monday of Holy Week. Christ is preparing anxiously for his last week on earth. The focus of our material today is on those who suffer from sickness and anxiety; we walk with Christ who walks with all who suffer.
