The following Sunday, 28 November is Advent Sunday, the start of new liturgical year.
We also keep it as our Harvest Festival/Thanksgiving Sunday. Envelopes are available for contributions to be made in thanksgiving for blessings received his year.

Ordination of Revd Sabelo Mthimkhulu 11 December
As announced earlier, Revd Sabelo’s ordination to the priesthood will take place on Saturday 11 December the Cathedral of the Holy Nativity. He will attend the pre-ordination retreat from Monday evening 6th November until the ordination. Please pray for him.
Training/Retreat
- Trauma Accompaniment for gender-based violence survivors
Saturdays: 13th and 27th November on ZOOM from 9h00-13h00; one face to face meeting in late January.
Numbers are restricted and there will be a selection process.

The facilitator is Ms Bongi Zengele, who is a Social Worker, lecturer at UKZN and has many years of practice and training in trauma response and GBV work, also in the context of HIV. (Ms Zengele preached to us last year)

Preparing for 2022
On 23 January we will welcome Bishop Nkosinathi to St Pauls. This will be our 173rd Anniversary. (In 2024 we will celebrate 175 years.)
Our Vestry meeting will be held on 13 March.
The Lambeth Conference (the approximately 10 year meeting of the bishops of the Anglican Communion) 27 July to 8 August.
