International Women’s Day

A message from the Gender Group:

The Gender Group of St Paul’s is inviting you to participate in an international photoshoot campaign, in an effort to CONTINUE the fight AGAINST the scourge of #GBV.

The 8 March, is International Women’s Day (IWD). A day on which we celebrate women’s achievements, raise gender equality awareness, and continue to advocate for equal rights for all women. This year’s IWD theme is “Gender Equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” #BreakTheBias

The above theme highlights the importance of challenging biases and misconceptions in the interest of creating a more inclusive and gender-equal world. By breaking the societal, regional and international bias, we will achieve a world free of stereotypes and discrimination, a world that’s diverse and equitable; a world where difference is valued and celebrated.

In this regard, we kindly request that you avail yourselves within your respective Guilds/Groups for a photoshoot after the services this Sunday in the church at the end of the service. We kindly request, if at all possible, for you to be in your Guild/Group uniform where/if applicable. Assistance and direction will be provided by the Gender Group and designated photographers during the said time to successfully complete the photoshoot.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation.
